The Viper Kyomi is a cool EDC pocket knife, designed by Jesper Voxnaes. It's a real all-round knife, suitable for pretty much anything you'd use a pocket knife for. The way the backspacer is combined with the lanyard eye on the spine of the blade is quite unique. Typically Voxnaes!
The Viper Kyomi V5933RBR, CPM 20CV Satin Bronze Titanium Circle, pocket knife is a cool EDC knife in the colour bronze. Blade made of CPM 20CV steel
The blade of this Viper Kyomi is made of CPM 20CV steel. This is premium steel made in the United States by Crucible Industries. CPM 20CV is popular because it is very hard and therefore retains its sharpness well. Moreover, 20CV is very corrosion resistant. These features make it an excellent choice for a pocket knife. In terms of composition and use, CPM 20CV is very similar to Böhler M390, another popular steel. Because CPM 20CV is incredibly hard, we recommend sharpening this pocket knife with diamond sharpening stones or ceramic sharpening stones, or a sharpening system that uses these sharpening stones.
The blade of this knife is enhanced with a 'satin finish'. This is a chic and tasteful finish that is very popular.
Titanium handle
The handle of this Viper Kyomi is made of titanium and measures 10.8 cm in length. Titanium is a fantastic high-tech material. It is an excellent choice for the handle of a pocket knife for several reasons: titanium is very strong, lightweight and it is flexible. Moreover, titanium can be machined very precisely and a wide range of different finishes are possible. To be exact, the handle is made of a titanium alloy. Small amounts of aluminium and vanadium are added to pure titanium to make it even more suitable for use as a pocket knife handle.
